As I sit here, trying to get off of the computer and get ready for the day, I am reminded that we only have 16 days until our Christmas Trip.
16 days until we leave! HOLY CRAP.....
I haven't made sure that we have everything that we are going to need! I haven't started packing! I haven't done anything....oops
Now, I only have 16 days, and in that 16 days, we have Thanksgiving, which I need to deep clean my house, go grocery shopping (Yeah, haven't done that yet either), and get ready for my cousins to invade my house for 4 days!
So, the million dollar question is this..... WHEN AM I GOING TO HAVE TIME TO PACK???
If anyone would like to come help me with this, it would be greatly appreciated! (or, at least call and make sure that I am getting something done, lol)
But seriously- I need to get going on this, I need to focus! Good luck to me :)

Follow Up
So, I know that you are all wondering if I have even started de-cluttering my house. Well, I am happy to report that I have. Yes, I Holly, have finally started! Yesterday I attacked my childrens bedroom (this was a task in itself). We went through 10 garbage bags, but we did it.
We threw away all broken toys, toys that had missing parts, and clothes that didn't fit anymore. You can not image how much crap boys can store in their rooms, lol. Of course, my boys didn't enjoy the process as much as I did, but in the end... I think they were okay with it.
Now, for a little update on the lives of the Ewells...
For those of you that haven't heard, Gareth got a promotion at work. He is now Sales Manager for the Mesquite plant. This with the promotion he got not long ago, of being over the St. George Plant, has kept him pretty busy, but he is really enjoying it.
The boys are adjusting well to school. We have finished the 1st quarter and are on a pretty good schedule. Yes, we fight regarding homework, but they know that if they don't get it done, they get the wrath of dad, lol.
As for me, nothing really new, just loving life.

Clutter
So, today we are going to talk about clutter. I have come to realize that my home & life are very cluttered!
I started to look around the house and saw that we have a lot of "junk". Stuff that I don't even think we have thought about or even used in over a year. For example.... Sheets, I have so many sheets that we haven't used in forever. Blankets, and more blankets. Coffee cups, that have NEVER been used, things like that.
So, now I am on a mission. My mission is to declutter my life & my house! Yes I know what you are all thinking, that I have said this before... BUT... I already started by cleaning out the fridge. (Hey, it is a start, lol)
Well, wish me luck and if I don't see any of you for the next month, then I'm sorry, but I am decluttering!!!! LOL
(Oh, and I have to declutter the kids room, ugh...)

Home Improvement Projects!!!!
This weekend Gareth decided to tackle yard projects!! As most of you all know, our side yard and backyard are infested with weeds, and deadly NightShade (which we didn't even know was in Utah). So, Gareth being adventurous...He decided we would spend all weekend excavating our yard. Here are lovely pictures of all our hard work.

This is our side of the house now... No more ugly rose bushes, no more rail road ties... Hopefully in the next month or so, there will be concrete there!!
This is what our planters look like now....
In tearing up the side yard, we had to ruin some of our lawn, which we have spent the last 4 years trying to grow :(
Gareth's driveway (or the lack there of)... We have it all level, so let's get the concrete now!!!!

I got a Mound of Dirt!!!!!!!
( supposed to remind you of I got a jar of dirt.... CAPTAIN JACK Pirates)
I was jealous of Karis mound, so we decided to get our own, lol... This was all the dirt from the side of the house!!

Bucket List
So I am totally stealing this from my friend Kim and the movie, The Bucket List.
Anyway, a bucket list is just a list of things you'd like to accomplish in your life before you kick the bucket. So here is the start of mine. I plan to add things to it and mark them off as I accomplish them.
1. Be totally and completely debt free
2. Buy a house
3. Learn to Snowboard
4. Raise my boys to be the best men they can be
5. Go Sky Diving
6. Go to Austrailia
7. Take my family on an awesome vacation, which they will never forget
8. Celebrate 30 years with Gareth
9. Celebrate New Years in Time Square, NYC
10. Spend an entire summer camping
Okay so like I said there will be more things added to the list as I think of them.
