It has been a crazy summer with the Ewells. Here is a quick recap.

Both boys finished school. They were super excited!

Both boys bored from nothing to do! LOL

Summertime vs. Wintertime

So, I am sure by now you have all noticed my new background for my blog, and that it is kind of summerish! Well, I did this because I am boycotting Winter this year! Yes, you heard right.....

Gareth & I are taking our boys on their "Summer Vacation" in 19 days. We leave on the 9th, and won't get back until early morning on the 18th. We are going to have fun in the sun! Oh yeah.... Beaches, Rides, flip flops... Who could ask for anything more?

- Like I said... I am boycotting Winter this year...

Summertime

Yes the summer is coming to a close, so just remember everything that happened this summer.

I would have to say the Kenny Chesney concert with Marla.... We needed a girls night !

I got to see family I haven't seen in forever!

What is the best Summer Movie you saw?
Sex in the City. I think this may have been the only movie I went to.

Did u read any books this summer?
Yes

Had any all nighters?
I stayed up helping Kari with her house until like 1:30, but I wouldn't call that an all nighter.

Had any sleepovers?
Yes

Had a pool party?
Not at my house, but thank goodness for family that has pools.

Went boy/girl watching?
I people watch whenever I'm out in public.

Make any new friends?
No

Had a birthday? If so, what age did u turn?
Yes, and I turned 28!

No.

Did you watch Camp Rock on Disney Channel?
Yes, with my boys.

Did you go anywhere besides the beach?
Las Vegas and New Orleans

Do you wish you could change something about this summer?
That I could have taken my boys on a vacation, but we are going in December, so it's okay.

Oh yes, I couldn't wait for school to start!

End of Summer fun!!!!

On Saturday, we took Eastyn, Cadyn and Haylee to the Washington County Fair (because we go every year for Cades birthday).It was our last hoo-rahh before school starts again! Haylee was in the baby contest and got 3rd place, and my friend Alicia and her son Trey were in it also, he won 1st in his age group!!! After that we went on the rides. I didn't stay long, as I wasn't feeling that good, but here are some pictures I took before we left.

Happy Pioneer Day!!!!

For all of you that don't live in Utah, July 24th is a big day here. It is when we celebrate our Pioneers coming to Utah. Yes, I know... Just another reason for us Utahns to take off work, watch a parade and then light some fireworks!!!!

We didn't get to the parade, but we did take the kids swimming, then we went home and had a BBQ with family. We had Stacey, Emmy, Haylee and Mike join us for some food (Thanks babe for cooking), fireworks, and just plain relaxation time. It was quite nice, all the kids were actually playing together and not fighting!!!!

Swimming

Thanks to my wonderful friend Kari, here are the pictures of Fathers Day swimming. Now, to set up the plot, first let me tell you it really wasn't about us, it was about the "Dads". They left first thing in the morning to go golfing, so Kari and I decided that we would take the kids swimming. So, we called Jenn and we packed up snacks and were at the pool by 11:00AM.

Gareth and Bryan finally showed up around 3PM, and we swam the night away. Finally all packing up to go home around 7:30ish. So, THANK YOU, Uncle Brian and Aunt Kathy for letting us steal your pool for the day.
