Now, this doesn't mean that he no longer has OI, because he does! It just means that the PAM treatments are helping him and his bones are getting stronger.
So, now comes the hard part. We have to decide whether we are going to keep him on the PAM for another year, or take a year off. Now, I can hear all of you asking this question "Why would you take a year off if it's helping him?" - Well, we don't really know the long term effects yet, and we don't want his body to get used to the drug and stop responding to it. On the other hand, if he happens to go through a growth spurt while he is off the PAM, then his fracture rate could go up...
Any suggestions?
All I can say is that I am so very happy that his bones aren't as fragile as they were 3 years ago!!!

I think that this is such a Blessing and that Cayden should.... Going out on a Limb here.. Make the Dession, have him ask Jim for a Blessing and maybe you as well to, Feel that you will both make the right choice! I really think that would help and am crying as I write it! LOVE you and If you decide to do that I would love to be there to support you Both!
